What are the prerequisites . . .

Can we drive to the survey site?
Our equipment is mounted on a 4 wheel drive SUV style vehicle. Is the survey site too steep, too heavily forested, or too brushy for us to drive to the survey site? Is it muddy or is there deep snow coverage?

Is there any buried electrical within 50 feet?
Power lines, telephone lines, nearby electric fences can affect readings - please call or use our contact page and we can clarify any issues with these.

Are the surface conditions too rocky?
Heavy surface rock not just occasional cobble.

Is there a nearby well to calibrate our system?
The accuracy of our system can be enhanced with a calibration at a documented nearby well.

Get on the schedule!

We normally can schedule your survey within a week to ten days. It may take longer during busy times of year, such as the spring building season. Book early to insure you can get your survey in time.

Survey day . . .

  • Meet the client and discuss their needs.
  • Sign a survey service agreement which specifies the work to be done and cost.
  • Determine the location of the survey and mark each site with an identifier flag.
  • Collect the data.
(We have found it is the best policy not to discuss the results of the survey in the field. It is in the client’s best interest to allow us to complete a detailed analysis of the data, write a detailed report and have it reviewed and approved by a licensed hydrogeologist. This can take up to 15 working days.)
